SHOW DESCRIPTION:
When her father dies unexpectedly, graphic novelist Alison tells the story of her father, a volatile, brilliant man whose hidden secrets and desires define her family and her growing understanding of her own sexuality. Moving between past and present, Alison shares her unique childhood.

- Tickets will be available both online and “at the door” via our Box Office booth in the Main Lobby before you enter the theater unless we sell out!
- In-person transactions are available in the Main Lobby before the event; we accept cash and credit card transactions but cannot support tap-to-pay at the box office
- As a small nonprofit organization, MST can not staff a Box Office with regular non-event hours

- MST is conveniently located on the Madison Street in Oak Park
- Between both the Oak Park Green Line “L” train stop and the Forest Park Blue Line “L” train stop
- Adjacent to Harlem Ave with regular bus routes serving the path of travel
- MST does not have private parking
- There is some metered street parking available in front of the theater
- Most streets are clearly labeled with any other parking restrictions
- This show is “General Admission” style seating, which is a “first-come-first-served” way of seating audience members in our 193-seat house
- Don’t hesitate to get in touch with MST (info@madisonstreettheater.org) if you would like to reserve an accessible seat
- There is no coat check at the theater; you may take personal items to your seat or ask a staff member if a coat hook is available in our back hallway
- We have a full liquor license and employ BASSET-certified bartenders (We ID) to serve your snack needs in the lobby starting when the lobby opens at 7 pm
- The last call will be around 9 pm
- We can process purchases with cash and most card or tap-to-pay services at our Square Kiosk
- Our selection includes:
- Pre-mixed spirit-based canned cocktails – $10
- Bottled white and red wines – $8
- Beer and malt beverages (Truly) – $6
- Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite – $3
- Bottled Water – $2
- Candy – $3
- Chip bags – $2
- All selections from concessions are welcome in the theater at your seats
- No outside food or beverages, please
- Restrooms are available on the West end of our Main Lobby at the far end of the room from the entrance
- “Ladies” is visible near the concessions
- “Gentlemen’s” is around the corner along the same back wall
